The essential responsibility of a Supervisor – Operational Reporting is to manage the process of providing:
Management reporting on the key metrics and performance indicators for each assigned business unit within loan servicing.
Operational and exception reporting to the various business units in loan servicing.
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis to assist in making strategic and operations decisions.
Summary of essential job function:
Manage a staff of information analysts, data analysts, and SQL developers (2-4 associates)
Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure that requirements conform to overall objectives and specifications.
Manage assignments, technical/functional content and resourcing.
Serve as a liaison between business units and reporting analysts
Maintain and expand both internal and external client relationships through the delivery of high quality work.
Seek, obtain, monitor and analyze feedback from clients to improve systems, processes and reporting.
Provide support relevant to areas of expertise.
Responsible for planning, organizing and leading tasks and projects, and ensuring the quality of the deliverables.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Proficient in the use of SQL and Excel, will be a hands-on position requiring creation of reports and managing others.
2+ years previous management experience of direct reports.
3+ years of hands-on experience in reporting/analytics for mortgage loan servicing or related industry.
Previous Loss Mitigation reporting experience would be a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services or similar tool preferred.
Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years of total work experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in business process analysis and improvement strategies preferred.
