    Post Unanswered: how to integrate Microsoft SQL Server database with Oracle

    1. Any body please tell me how to create a link database on Oracle to access Microsoft Sql server's database on Oracle?
    2. And please tell me how i can access all objects of other already existing link databases.



    Any suggestion will be appreciate.

    Please tell me what is the purpose of "Oracle transparent gateway" in Hetrogeneous services.

    it is a piece of software that makes a sql server database look like another oracle database to oracle so that you can make a database link to it and use it as you would any other database.
