    Unanswered: Command button password

    Hi...
I have created a command button password using following comand,

If InputBox("Please enter password to continue", "Password Input") <> "Password1" Then
MsgBox "Wrong password entered. Operation aborted", vbCritical
    Else
    DoCmd****nMacro "dave alsop reprot"
    End If

But i need to mask the password that is entered...how can I do that..
    Regards,
    Althaf

open the form in design mode
    select the password control box
    right click to show properties
on the format tab select the format property and set it to password

I don't believe the Control is accessible when using the InputBox() Function. I think the only way to do this is to use a small popup Form to enter the password, using the Format of the Control on that Form to set the Format to Password.

More work but I think it's really the only way.

    Hope this helps!
