    Unanswered: Update error

    i am getting a 3144 error but i dont see where my syntax went wrong any help. Thank you!

    CurrentDb.Execute "UPDATE Totals SET(SUNDAY = " & SD_SunTXT.Value & ",MONDAY =" & SD_MonTXT.Value & ",TUESDAY = " & SD_TueTXT.Value & ",WEDNESDAY = " & SD_WedTXT.Value & ",THURSDAY = " & SD_ThuTxt.Value & ",FRIDAY = " & SD_FriTXT.Value & ",SATURDAY =" & SD_SatTXT.Value & " WHERE [HG_ID]= " & HG_ID.Value & " AND TYPE = 'SAMEDAY';"

    If the columns SUNDAY , MONDAY, etc. are defined as Date/Time, you must properly format the values before passing them to the Jet Engine. As it is, you're passing them as numeric values.

    you have a parenthesis between SET and SUNDAY -- removes it

    they are actually just numeric fields keeping values.
