Unanswered: Slow data fetching from DB2 in C++ Application

    Hi

My application that is fetching data from DB2 using CLI API.
The application is getting complete data from a table in bulks by using Default forward cursor in SQLFetchScroll(SQL_FETCH_NEXT).I am facing a problem that the data retrieval from DB2 using CLI is very slow i want to make it efficient .

Currently I am able to fetch 1GB data in 50 minute that is very slow.

what is the efficient way to get data from DB2 using CLI ?

Where is the application running? Is it on a remote client? What sort of network is between the client and server?

What version of DB2 and OS are you using?

So, what do you want to do after fetching complete data from a table?

seems same question from other thread. How about sharing some performance data ? If you are on V9.7, you can run monreport.dbsummary ,

    e.g. db2 "call monreport.dbsummary(120)" , where 120 is seconds and I think you go upto 3600.
