Unanswered: compatibility of CPP files generated by Pro*C/C++ to next Oracle versions

I want to discuss a situation with you all.

We write sql and C++ code together in pc extension file and use Pro*C/C++ precompiler to generate CPP file with that pc file.I want to know that ,all those same CPP files will be compatible with next Oracle releases or we will have to precompile those pc extension file everytime by Pro*C/C++ to generate compatible CPP file to next oracle releases ?

I want to use same CPP files with next oracle Releases.

    Thanks in Advance!

nobody here can guarantee anything about any future Oracle release
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
