Unanswered: Problem switching logging mode of database

    Friends,

I am having hard time switching the logging status of the database.

IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 10.00.FC5
Can some one help me ; Urgent.

    Code:
    Running dbaccess on hp104
    -------------------------

    Set isolation to dirty read.

     265: Transaction not available.

    -------------------------
    Running on hp104
    -> hp104:/home/dbfinder<-
    (dbfinder) $ ontape -s -L 0 -B strdb
Server is in an incompatible state or user authentication failed.

    Program over.

    ------------------------
    Running on ibm98
    (ibm98:/home/dbfinder) ontape -s -L 0 -B strdb
Error changing logging status - 'strdb'. iserrno 107.

    Program over.

    (ibm98:/home/dbfinder)
HP104 is the server where we use the database with dbaccess. It is giving error 265: Transaction not available.

Suspecting that database is not in logging mode I was trying to change the logging mode of the database on ibm98 server.

    Where am I wrong ??

    Resolved

The applications were connected. Used onmode -uy , worked like charm.
Database swithed to looging mode. Used unbuffered (-U).

    Thanks All
