Desired Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or equivalent.
Project Management experience or Customer Service background, preferably involving scheduling responsibilities.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and familiarity with the basic hardware and services
US Public Sector PS Service Coordinator
Professional Services Service Coordinator in the US Public Sector GEO provides the gateway to delivering services, by providing project coordination services for internal operational programs from initiation through delivery. Service Coordinators manage all processes and systems relevant to the successful completion of internal services/support goals including: review of user, technical and logistical requirements, contacting end users and obtaining scheduling details, identifying tasks and resources, assigning and coordinating resources, and closing the project after delivery.
Service Coordinators work collaboratively with professionals in a number of Service functions, with a focus on assisting the Regional Managers (RMs), Program/Project Managers (P/Client) and Professional Service Engineers (PSEs) through the lifecycle of the service projects.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Administrative & Project Management Tasks:
Review and create new projects in PSA
Check and process Credit/Rebook orders and manually create pre-sales projects
Contact customers to obtain dates for scheduling and assist with questions concerning order details
Create Resource Requests and assign project resources, PSE’s, PM’s and EM’s
Request and manage Contract Delivery Partners (CDP’s): determine assignments, establish schedule, introduce project information, fill out paperwork, assist with questions and issues
Update project statuses and notes in PSA
Manually track number of orders closing weekly, monthly and quarterly
Assist with internal ops projects: identify areas for improvement, test new systems and enhancements, provide training to fellow SCs/PMs/PgMs
Revenue Recognition Tasks:
Identify and obtain evidence of arrangement (EAO) documentation for each project
Obtaining and reviewing project closing documents
Auditing projects for closure
Working with Business Management Office to ensure proper revenue recognition
Reporting & Financial Tasks:
Run various financial reports in Discoverer and eBI
Provide Project updates and various reports to Regional Managers
Report weekly, monthly and quarterly numbers of projects to upper management
Provide forecast reports to management on revenue numbers and projects to close
