    Unanswered: Help with a sql

    Hi All,

I am trying a query with all the like predicates to avoid getting all the special characters like apostrophe and numbers in my result set. Is there a select query Or a function in db2 9.7.3a luw that can I can use to achieve that. My query with all the likes is taking long time to return the results even though the table is reorged and updated with stats and pulling only 3000 rows from the table. Is there a better way of doing this ? Do let me know

    Thanks

Do I need to point out this RUNSTATS in DB2 UDB Version 8.2 to you? Please note the part about "RUNSTATS with LIKE STATISTICS".
