Unanswered: DB2 - Create database on path rather than Drive

    Hi,
i am using db2 v9.7, in my xp machine i am trying to create my database on my own path rather than drive

    Example: "C:\MyProduct\MyDatabase\"
Earlier it was in "C:\" drive

i have used the command to update my registry editor, then
DB2_CREATE_DB_ON_PATH = 1 - it was set in my registry editor.

Finally when i come into my local disk DB was created in two paths.
one is on my own path, another one is from "C:\" drive....

what am i missing on this.... that should not create database on "C:\" drive...?

    Thanks,
    Mani

    Talking about windows registry? Dunno.
I do know "db2set DB2_CREATE_DB_ON_PATH=YES" and that works.

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
