Question Unanswered: Db2- Restore Db on path

    Hi,
i am using db2 v9.7, i am trying to restore my db on a path.

    my command is
RESTORE DATABASE TESTDB FROM 'C:\Program Files\Templates' TAKEN AT 20120203085913 DBPATH ON 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\' INTO TESTDB WITH 2 BUFFERS BUFFER 1024 PARALLELISM 1 WITHOUT PROMPTING

i have created the database on the same path which i am trying to restore.

But, after executing restore command, i am able to see "DB2_01" folder in C:\ drive and also in my application path....

what could be problem with this restore command... ?

    Thanks,
    Mani

check also the syntax in doc
path : is for creating the ts containers if automatic storage is being used
dbpath : is for the config files used by db2 for this db
    you can specify both

    Db2_create_db_on_path=yes

be sure to have set (this is NOT the default for WIndows)
    db2set DB2_CREATE_DB_ON_PATH=YES

both on instance (i) and global (g) level

    check with db2set - all

    db2set DB2_CREATE_DB_ON_PATH=YES

For Windows, since sadly this is NOT the default, be sure to have set

    db2set DB2_CREATE_DB_ON_PATH=YES

Preferable on globale (g) and instance (i) level
    issue :
    db2set -g DB2_CREATE_DB_ON_PATH=YES)
    and (for every instance)
    db2set DB2_CREATE_DB_ON_PATH=YES

    check with db2set - all
