Unanswered: procedure invalid after move on db2 9.7

    Hi All,
We have this issue presently some of our existing stored procedures are not upgraded in place once we move from 9.5 to 9.7.

I drop all invalid store procedures(SP) and recreate successfully without any change in SP.

But why marked invalid? Any Idea?

    Thanks,
    Regards
    Pawan Kumar

    look in the migration guide
they indicate which operations are recommended/mandatory when doing migration from release to new release..
    maybe rebind was enough
with drop/create grant is also dropped

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.

maybe it is indicated that rebind is mandatory (or drop create..) and can be hit in some cases..
reading about migration and planning the migration is also very important
