    Unanswered: DB2 Connect 9.7 on Linux and z/OS DB2 and BIDI

    My application is using DB2 Connect v9.7 on zLinux to retrieve arabic data from a z/OS
    DB2 server with codepage 420. The data is reversed(flipped) when the application receives it. How do I turn off the BIDI reversal behaviour?

    The following DB2 settings are active on Linux
    DB2BIDI=YES
    DB2CODEPAGE=1046

    Thanks

    Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
