    Unanswered: authorities / privileges

Is there something in db2 (table function, admin view etc..) that will give a list of ALL authorities / privileges held by a specific user or group? Need to do system catalog cleanup.

Thanks. I can use this for some releases.

Are you aware of any "cascade effect" of revoking authorities / privileges in v8 - v9.7?

There is no "cascading" - privileges that may have been granted implicitly (e.g. as a part of a DBADM grant) will remain in place if the "parent" authority is revoked.

I think you're right - there is no "cascading" in LUW. I recall we had to be careful when revoking some authority/privilege on mainframe.
