Is the statement dynamic or static ? Have you done a rebind?

Has the data in the tables increased substantially?

I suggest you use DBACockpit to explain the SQL Statements and look for index suggestions.

statement is static, no i have not done rebind,

    table has not grown substantially

we had sap upgrade from ECC6 EHP4 to EHP5 from then we had huge performance issues

Sathyaram pointed you in a right way.
If static you have to rebind after runstats.

    This is for optimizer.

    Code:
db2 -x "select 'rebind package '||rtrim(pkgschema)||'.'||rtrim(pkgname)||';' from syscat.packages where pkgschema not like 'SYS%' and pkgschema not like 'NULL%'" > rebind.sql
    db2 -tvf rebind.sql > rebind.out
