    Unanswered: Installation of Oracle problem

    Hi I am new in oracle and I want to kindly as if it is possible to insult Oracle 11g on Windows 7 since I am getting a lot of errors.

    First of all, make sure that Oracle you are about to install is certified with Windows version. Note that NONE of Oracle databases is certified on any MS Windows HOME edition (therefore, if your Windows 7 is a "Home" edition, consider upgrading it).

    Everything you need to know is described in Installation Guide. Did you read it? Understood what it says? Followed instructions?

    Finally, what would these "lot of errors" be? Thousands of users successfully installed Oracle on Windows 7 (which includes me too), so ... I guess that you did something wrong. What? No idea, you didn't provide any useful information.

    Yes, it's possible to insult Oracle...but perhaps first you should at least try to study (read) the instructions in the fine Oracle manuals.
