Good Day,
I am trying to ascertain the best and cleanest route for a db in Access to query between two columns: LogOn and LogOff, This consists of date and time in this format: 2012-01-07 06:40:53 | 2012-01-07 06:51:43.
I found a thread on here to add a module for elapsed time which looked good but cannot seem to find the best way to populate this. All I need is to be able to filter out anything under 48 hours to be left with (hopefully) far less than 70000 lines. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Any further information needed please don't hesitate to ask.

i may be very brief but I am at the end of a 12 hour night shift and am trying to write this db whenever I have a spare minute. I include the module code below:

Public Function ElapsedTime(Start As Date, Finish As Date) As String
'Calculates elapsed time between 2 date/times and
'parses it out into Hours-Minutes-Seconds in HH:MMS format
Dim HoursLapsed, SecondsLeft, MinutesLapsed, SecondsLapsed As Long

TotalSeconds = DateDiff("s", Start, Finish)

HoursLapsed = Int(TotalSeconds / 3600)

SecondsLeft = TotalSeconds Mod 3600

MinutesLapsed = Int(SecondsLeft / 60)

SecondsLapsed = SecondsLeft Mod 60

ElapsedTime = Format(HoursLapsed, "00") & ":" & Format(MinutesLapsed, "00") & ":" & Format(SecondsLapsed, "00")

End Function

Thanks for any help.
