Hi,

I have a form with 4 different combo boxes, let's say cbo_1 - cbo_4. I want to allow the user to choose the values in any of these boxes in no particular order and have them filter out the correct values.

I attempted doing this with an if statement for example for cbo_2:

If isnull(cbo_3) And isnull(cbo_4) then
cbo_1.rowsource = criteria based on value of cbo_2
elseIf isnull(cbo_3)
cbo_1.rowsource = criteria based on value of cbo_2 & cbo_4
elseif isnull(cbo_4)
cbo_1.rowsource = criteria based on value of cbo_2 & cbo_3
end if

I did this for each of the four combo boxes. The issue I'm having is that often, it will leave the options for a combo box completely blank. I tried debugging it and it is actually going through the code, but for some reason it isn't showing any of the options. Could anyone help me with this issue?

I'm not sure if this is just the incorrect application of cascading combo boxes... like if they are solely designed to filter values in a specific order. I thought this would be fine, but it has not been working and I'm stuck trying to figure out the reason why. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
