    Unanswered: Inserting records in only one column

    Hi experts,

    I have added one column in a table. I need to insert values in that added column. I do have values for all other column. There are 100 records. I am in oracle 10g. Could you please guide me how to do that.

    INSERT adds new rows to table
    UPDATE can change an existing single column

    UPDATE FOOBAR SET NEW_COLUMN='DATA';
