    Unanswered: adding chinese data

    Hello,

    I want to add chinese data.
    for that ,can someone tell me what extra setting required for the same
    ?


    current setting:

    Database territory = US
    Database code page = 1208
    Database code set = UTF-8
    Database country/region code = 1
    Database collating sequence = IDENTITY

    You are set to go with UTF-8. In order to have room for Chinese characters, you will probably want to increase the size of your CHAR and VARCHAR by 2-3 times the size needed for English (probably VARCHAR is best in all cases instead of CHAR, even with 2-byte overhead).

    UTF-8 will be ok for chinese data。。。
