    Unanswered: Monitoring performance,locks,querys in database.

    Hi colleagues,
    Somebody can say me the commands to monitoring performance,locks, querys executing in database, monitoring memory. The release is DB2 V8.1.

    Other Question, There is db2top for db2 release 8?

    If I remember correctly, there are some functions that you can query or you can use the GET SNAPSHOT commands. Check the manuals. There is no db2top for V8.

    db2top is available from db2 8.1 fixpak 17.

    I agree that you will find db2top very useful for this.

    However after years of typing db2stop I find db2top to close for comfort. One little s and .....................

    I alias db2top to dtop or somesuch so as to avoid an accidental instance shutdown.
