    Unanswered: Backup failure

    when i am taking backup. i got the below error.

    However unable to understand what the error is all about

    SQL0902C A system error (reason code = "1") occurred. Subsequent SQL
    statements cannot be processed. SQLSTATE=58005

    set diaglevel to 4 - there must be entries in case of severe error

    are all tablespaces online
    have you not removed a specific filesystem
    full/incremental backup ?
    has this worked before ?

    Is there anything else logged in the db2diag.log prior to the error you pasted. Bad page when reading LOB data?

    Maybe you can take a trace to dig out what the problem is ?
    before backup,
    db2trc on -t -f db2trc.raw
    after backup error
    db2trc off
    be causious that db2trc.raw could be very huge.....

    once i got this type of error , by restarting OS , problem is solved, we will get this type of errors because of problem at OS level also.
