Unanswered: sqluvint is called twice for restore

I am facing a problem with DB2 restore operation. My application calls db2Restore and provides a vendor dll. However in vendor dll, I am seeing, soon after the restore session completes, DB2 initiates a new session and calls sqluvint().

Could anyone please explain why DB2 calls sqluvint() once more.

NOTE: We are not using multiple sessions to backup or restore, but still DB2 calls sqluvint twice.

sqluvint is called twice for restore

I don't find an IBM document that says sqluvint is called twice. The IBM docs clearly say that for restore the call sequence is:
    sqlunit, sqluvget, sqlvend.

What Im seesing is sqlunit, sqluvget, sqlvend, sqluvint, sqluvend.

DB2 in my case is not behaving as its written in IBM docs so I want to know why I am seeing this.

Do you perform rollforward after the restore? It could be called again to check/retrieve the logs?
