    Unanswered: Db2 monitoring tools

Hi , Can you please advise what monotoring tools availbale(Free) for application performance monitoring on db2 on AIX. We are supporing DB2 LUW V8.2 (out of support) on AIX 5.3 inherited form another company. Recently some users are complaing about performance degrade. As there are many reasons for performance degrade , I am trying to see this issue is anything to do with Db2. Thanks for your help.

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.

Snaphot for Dynamic SQL. Refer to doc for specifics on how to run it. You will have to turn on the statment monitor, either globably (in dbm cfg) or for the session running the snapshot.
