Unanswered: Storing Seats in a database.
Hey, I'm having problems storing seats in my Database ...I kind of making it all up as I go along..probally going about it all wrong.
My problem is, I have seats, A-X, number 1-27, divided into Type, cost, feature(broken, disability access etc).
I then have Shows(sleeping beauty, lion king, etc) - Each show will be on for my many days, I'l have two shows a day, with time slots of 12.00 and 7.00.
So far I have alot of tables.
Fk-Area - Tables for this
Fk-Cost Table for this
FK-Feature - Table for this
Performance/Seating/Time arrangment: Working Title Lol
Also have Employee Table, Customer Table, Booking Table,
Need to link a booking, with a show, time, day and multiple seats etc.
Any advice, plus may be going about the whole thing wrong, but basically, every show will have many time/date combinations. Each show/time/date combinations can be linked to all the seats.
