    Unanswered: DB2 transaction logs

OK we have a db on linux db2 9.5 . We have a warehousing solution deployed on it. We had planned that we won't have logretain on. It was off and we were using circular logging.

But due to a mix up another system administrator turned it on and the directory reached 100 %.

Now I have turned off the logretain off but my question is that will this also delete the archive files or not and if not how can I do that because the directory is same . meaning that the archived logged were not moved to any other file directory and they both are in one directory.

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
