    Unanswered: message in db2diag.log

    Hi colleagues,
Can someone tell me why this error occurs?

FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, buffer pool services, sqlbSuspendWrite, probe:80
MESSAGE : ADM6075W The table space "TSREDIX" (ID "76") has been placed in the
WRITE_SUSPEND state. All write I/O for this table space will be
suspended until a WRITE RESUME is issued.

    Thank you for advanced.

What version are you on ?

Do you get any error messages in your application ?
And what are you doing when the "warning" is issued in db2diag.log?

This occurs if the system is put into a WRITE SUSPEND mode for creating a Split Mirror. Are there subsequent messages that the tablespace is no longer in a write suspend mode?

The when is simple. The db2disg.log timestamps these messages. That is when they occur. Who is a different matter. Do the messages occur at a regular interval? What DB2 version and OS are you using?

Check the timestamps of the messages and see if they occur with any frequency. I suspect a cron job that briefly issues a WRITE SUSPEND, splits the mirror, then issues a WRITE RESUME.
