    Unanswered: SQL Help with distinct

    Hi I have the following but it keeps returning multiple rows when the table in question should only have 2 row's, and help woud be great..

    SELECT distinct dbo.viewaccum1hour.PlayerID, dbo.viewaccum1hour.CasinoID,
    dbo.viewaccum1hour.AreaID, dbo.viewaccum1hour.lastgamingdt,
    dbo.viewaccum1hour.bet, dbo.viewaccum1hour.plays, dbo.viewaccum1hour.casinowin, dbo.viewaccum1hour.theorwin,
    dbo.viewsdsreceive.LocnID, dbo.viewsdsreceive.acct

    FROM dbo.viewaccum1hour
    inner JOIN
    dbo.viewsdsreceive
    on dbo.viewaccum1hour.playerid=dbo.viewsdsreceive.pla yerid
    where lastgamingdt = '2012-04-19' and bet<> '0' and casinoid='NLC'
    order by acct desc

    Most likely something is distinct about these rows that are being returned. Do you have leading or trailing spaces? Nulls where values should be? Line up the two rows against each other, and you should find a difference. We certainly can't....unless of course you give us all a login for your system.
