I'm migrating from SQL Server 2008 R2 to Postgresql for our student information system. All I have to is get the data out and then the software company is doing the data import in to postgres. I have scripted everything out and built one SSIS package that has about 25 data flow tasks that export to different tab delimited files. Now what I'm about to do is send the files to the company and they will import them into the new database. Once we have the data in the new database I will be adding new data columns and removing some, Based on feedback form users. So once I make changes to the stored procedure how do I update the SSIS package to pickup the new fields and drop the ones that have been removed?
