Unanswered: Is SQLite good for small memory allocation?

    Hello,

I only have 128MB available to develop my DB. I only have 7 tables all together. I wanted to know if I would have enough room on my chip to use SQLite on a linux embedded device.

    Thank you

    SQLite

Suggest you try it and see if it will run on your system.

You might also consider adding more memory. . .

How much data will you be storing?

Not a whole lot of data. Data range from 10-90 and we have about 7 or 8 tables all together. I can't increase the size of the db.

    10-90 what (rows, megs, gigs . . .)?

I can't increase the size of the db.
Is your concern for memory or dasd space?

10-90 rows. I tested it and it seems sqlite is ok for that. Thank you for all of your help.
