Regulatory Specialist: A regulatory specialist is responsible for filing FCC applications for Wireless Transmission Sites to ensure that the company is in compliance with the FCC guidelines. The candidate will need to process FCC and FAA filings and submit them to the HQ Network Regulatory group. The candidate will coordinate all filings and track and follow up on Approvals to ensure that they are granted ahead of the Wireless site activation or modification. The candidate will also work the RF Engineers to gather all pertinent Radio Frequency information about the site and get any required AM Study and Border Extension agreements processed. The candidate will also “Project Manage” the regulatory process for the region and provide status update to other groups such as the Implementation group electronically or by attending the Implementation meetings. The candidate will utilize a prediction tool to generate the FCC and Radial reports to be submitted with the FCC filing.
The candidate must have a B.S and must possess Excellent Project Management and Coordination Skills. The candidate will work as a “Project Coordinator/Regulatory Specialist”. The Candidate must have Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills. Prior experience or familiarly with Wireless Site FCC/FAA filing is desired.
