    Red face Unanswered: DB Error

    Good day,

I am getting the following error where executing a native SQL statement.

Database error text........: "SQL0440N No authorized routine named "IFNULL" of type "FUNCTION" having compatible arguments was found. SQLSTATE=42884"
    Database error code........: "-440"
Triggering SQL statement...: "UPDATE SAPBD1."/BIC/EBBSPLN_MB" SET
    "/BIC/ACUMAVEBL" = IFNULL ( "/BIC/ACUMAVEBL", 0 ) WHERE KEY_BBSPLN_MBT IN (
SELECT DIMID FROM SAPBD1."/BIC/DBBSPLN_MBT" DT INNER JOIN
    SAPBD1."/BI0/SFISCYEAR" FY ON FY.SID = DT.SID_0FISCYEAR WHERE INTEGER (
    "FISCYEAR" ) "
    Internal call code.........: "[DBDS/NEW DSQL]"

Does anybody know why I am getting this error.

Maybe if you supplied the DB2 version and OS you would get an answer.

    Is your application SAP ?
DB2 applications tend to use COALESCE instead of IFNULL - but IFNULL is present for CLI applications that use vendor escape clauses.

@ARWinner the DB version is DB2 9.7, or as SAP notes DB6.
    The operating system is AIX.

@db2mor, we are using SAP, I will try the COALESCE command.
