    Unanswered: DB2 v8 - bundled?

    We have several v8 servers (I know v8 has been out of support for several years). As per our doc, DB2 is bundled with another IBM product. The question is how to verify that it's actually bundled. In v9.7, I can see it from the db2licm command (License type: "Restricted"), but v8 doesn't show it.

    Here is the output from v8:

    xxxxxxx:/home/db2inst1>$ db2licm -l
    Product Name = "DB2 Enterprise Server Edition"
    Product Identifier = "DB2ESE"
    Version Information = "8.2"
    Expiry Date = "Permanent"
    Registered Connect User Policy = "Disabled"
    Number Of Entitled Connect Users = "5"
    Enforcement Policy = "Soft Stop"
    Number of processors = "1"
    Number of licensed processors = "1"
    Database partitioning feature = "Not entitled"
    Annotation = ""
    Other information = ""

    Does anyone know how to check for v8?

    It has been a while since I used V8.2, but I do not think there is a way to see that in V8.x.

    I could not find a way to tell if it's a bundled copy. I located the actual file on the server and see "Bundle=No" (not sure what exactly this means), but I checked the restricted license file for v9.7 (db2ese_o.lic) and it has the same info. I don't think there is a way to tell but opened a pmr to check. Thanks
