Unanswered: Performance Issue on 1 Particular Schema

In production Oracle 10g database, We are having 4 schemas with same objects. But in one of the Schema recently has slowed down considerably compared to the other 3 schemas. Infact, the amount of data in the schema is question is almost same and the Maintainance Plan for the DB is done to all the schemas in the Database.

Also, We have limited access to the DB as it is maintained by the client.

Just needs some pointers to check and identify the issue.

We have updated the stats and also reindexed after the issue was identified but still the issue persists.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Best Regards

I assume that the application connects directly to the "problematic schema"?

You could run STATSPACK and review performance statistics.

You could turn on SQL trace for the problematic schema during problematic period. Review the generated SQL using tkprof.

You could also turn on PL/SQL profiler for the user, if you application uses PL/SQL for data access.
