Question Unanswered: Should i change the int into boolean

In DB2 9.5, I used integer types(smallint) to represent the boolean values.
In DB2 9.7, boolean has come as a type .
Is it a good idea to convert all the existing types into boolean??

The application works properly. And there is no problem with smallint type actually. I thought that it can improve the performance of the application.

P.S: There are some enhancement in Db2 9.7. I try to find which of them are suitable for my case. Scan Sharing? New data types? Space Reclamation?

You realize, of course, that you can only use the boolean datatype in the PSM context (e.g. in a SQL stored procedure). You cannot create a boolean column.
