    Unanswered: How to Create DB2 partition.

    Hi Friends.
    I wanted to create partition on windows machine in DB2 ESE edition.
    But it throw error which is weird for me please help
    Code:

    Error 23 is :

             Specify the computer name of the system on which the new node
             is created using the COMPUTER option.
    Please help guys

    There are 2 types of partitioning in DB2:
    • Table Partitioning (range partitioning)
    • Data Base Partitioning (hash partitioning)


    You are attempting to use Data Base Partitioning, for which you need the DPF feature licensed.

    To add a DPF partition, see the "db2 START DATABASE MANAGER" command syntax in the Command Reference manual. This can be invoked using "db2start /D" also.

    But I want to know the solution, please help..
    As I am getting the hostname error which is 'AMAN' here.
