    if /db2fs1p3/db2inst1 is your data directory I would recommend
    /db2fs1p3/db2inst1/dbname
    and also an indication of the node
    in the doc they show how to use partition variable to be included in path/container for each node
    is this fs available at each node....

    I am assuming you are working with DPF. Here is an example of partition groups and a tablespace spread accross the partitions in the partition group that contains partitions 1-8. In this example, partition 0 is for non-partitioned data only.

    Code:
    CREATE DATABASE PARTITION GROUP "PDPG" ON DBPARTITIONNUMS
    		(1,
    		 2,
    		 3,
    		 4,
    		 5,
    		 6,
    		 7,
    		 8);

    CREATE DATABASE PARTITION GROUP "SDPG" ON DBPARTITIONNUMS
    		(0);

    CREATE LARGE TABLESPACE "TS_PD_DATA_32K" IN DATABASE PARTITION GROUP PDPG PAGESIZE 32768 MANAGED BY DATABASE
    	 USING (FILE '/db2fs/db2inst1/NODE0001/SAMP_DB/data/DMS/TS_PD_DATA_32K' 3200) ON DBPARTITIONNUMS (1)
    	 USING (FILE '/db2fs/db2inst1/NODE0002/SAMP_DB/data/DMS/TS_PD_DATA_32K' 3200) ON DBPARTITIONNUMS (2)
    	 USING (FILE '/db2fs/db2inst1/NODE0003/SAMP_DB/data/DMS/TS_PD_DATA_32K' 3200) ON DBPARTITIONNUMS (3)
    	 USING (FILE '/db2fs/db2inst1/NODE0004/SAMP_DB/data/DMS/TS_PD_DATA_32K' 3200) ON DBPARTITIONNUMS (4)
    	 USING (FILE '/db2fs/db2inst1/NODE0005/SAMP_DB/data/DMS/TS_PD_DATA_32K' 3200) ON DBPARTITIONNUMS (5)
    	 USING (FILE '/db2fs/db2inst1/NODE0006/SAMP_DB/data/DMS/TS_PD_DATA_32K' 3200) ON DBPARTITIONNUMS (6)
    	 USING (FILE '/db2fs/db2inst1/NODE0007/SAMP_DB/data/DMS/TS_PD_DATA_32K' 3200) ON DBPARTITIONNUMS (7)
    	 USING (FILE '/db2fs/db2inst1/NODE0008/SAMP_DB/data/DMS/TS_PD_DATA_32K' 3200) ON DBPARTITIONNUMS (8)

    This is not a bad reference for DPF - but I may be prejudiced
