Unanswered: index on declared Global temp table in DB2

    Hi,
I am using DB2 in a CICS environment.
I have a declared global temp table which has been modeled on a permanent db2 table defined in SYSIBM.SYSTABLES. I am able to use in the CICS transactions and batch as well, my question is can i built an index in the cics transaction itself when it is defining the declared GTT.

If your version supports indexes on DGTT , your cics transaction will be able to build index also.

We are using DB2 version 9 and as I understand it supports index building, but I am not sure about the syntax of the SQL or in other words how to build it, could you please provide a sample SQL which is building the index on DGTT

Look for Create Index syntax in the manual
