Unanswered: Oracle 11g installation on 64-bit red-hat linux.

I want to install oracle 11g on 64 bit red-hat linux and machine contains 64 GB RAM. So i don't wanna go for AMM (automatic memory management). So for manual memory management how to configure linux kernel parameters. what should be the kernel paramater value for the best oracle 11g performance. I've very little Linux knowledge. Plz help..Thanx in advance.

I think Oracle Linux or OEL (not sure if they're the same / different) has more advanced memory handling procedures built into the kernel optimized for 11g.

    **NOTE**

11.2.0.3.0 is only supported on RHEL 6.x or Oracle Linux 6.x (64-bit). Anything prior and you might have problems.
