    Unanswered: HADR config

    Hello All,

we have HADR set up production server running with oslevel - aix6.1 and db2 v9.5 fp8.

Unix team cloned the prod servers and created another two QA boxes similar to above.

I have changed the configuration with respect to the new ones, but when checked the state of db , it shows as disconnect for one db and for other db - it show as db not activated on partition 0.

    snapshot below:
    on primary:
    Database Partition 0 -- Database MSN -- Active -- Up 10 days 18:58:58 -- Date 06 /01/2012 12:13:18

I have seen this problem before when cloning machines
I found a doc explaining this and how to correct (some time ago and have to search again)
    be careful with hostnames ..

I'd suggest stopping HADR, restoring a backup on the standby servers.. then starting HADR again...

Could you please provide the following output on both Standby and Primary.

db2 get db cfg for <db> | grep HADR

    Also your latest db2diag.log

are you using tsm for archiving the logs ? or how do you archive ?
can the second node access the archived logs - have you copied them ?
    update diaglevel to 4
    - first start hadr on standby and check with db2pd
    - start hadr on primary and check with db2pd
any relevant info in between - publish it
do it step-by-step and check after each step
check archived log files and their location for both servers
