Unanswered: DB2 Partition Node is not working fine

    Hi Friends
I am new to DB2 Partition area. I am getting this error while starting or stopping the DB2 Instance. I have 1 physical and 3 logical nodes on my system.

    System
    Windows XP
    DB2 ESE 9.7.5

    Code:
    C:\>db2admin stop
SQL4407W The DB2 Administration Server was stopped successfully.

    C:\>db2admin start
SQL4406W The DB2 Administration Server was started successfully.

    C:\>db2start
    05/31/2012 17:36:10 0 0 SQL1026N The database manager is already active.
    05/31/2012 17:36:15 3 0 SQL1063N DB2START processing was successful.
SQL6032W Start command processing was attempted on "2" node(s). "1" node(s) were successfully started. "1" node(s) were already started. "0" node(s) could not be started.

    C:\>db2 ? SQL6032W

SQL6032W Start command processing was attempted on "<total-number>"
          node(s). "<number-started>" node(s) were successfully started.
          "<number-already-started>" node(s) were already started.
"<number-not-started>" node(s) could not be started.

    Explanation:

The database manager did not start successfully on all the nodes. Not
all of the data in the database may be accessible. Data on the nodes
that started successfully or were already running is accessible.

    User response:

Check the log file created in the log directory of the sqllib directory
for the instance to see which nodes did not start.

    C:\>
I have searched for the log file in given path but did not find.
one more thing, I didn't find the db2nodes.cfg file also.

    Please help

    thanks
    Victim

    db2nodes.cfg should be in sqllib
    db2diag.log is in sqllib/db2dump

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
