    Unanswered: concatenate 2 text files

I want to concatenate 2 text files by external table concept..

    ex:
    a.txt:
    aaaa,1576
    cccccc,2345

    b.txt:
    jkef,345,tgh,uih
    thg,567,iyu,hgj

How is the result supposed to look like?

Do you want to load the information from both tables into a single table? If so, how can you join lines from the first file with lines from the second file?

External tables are used to LOAD data into an Oracle table, so - if you meant to create another file (which would be result of "concatenation" (whatever you mean by that)) - external tables aren't the right tool.
