    Unanswered: Interesting problem

Ok, I work in the IT department of my company, and we don't do much coding here at all. I've been asked to build a scripter and database for one of our automated sync reporters we have in place. I understand that I will have to script it out to get the information from our sync server(red hat box) into SQLServer, and then script it to output the daily reports. My biggest question is, how would I be able to import the data from the box into my db? I've tried the import/export wizard, and it just doesn't work for what I need. I'm running SQL Server 2008 R2

    Thanks in advance!

Can you unload the data from the "red hat box" into a delimited file?

That should import directly into SQL Server.

I cannot separate them into a delimited file, that's one option I have tried.
