    Question Unanswered: sessions not die

    Hi,

I have client application logged in sybase by dedicated connections, some sessions not die after user stop application without close, by windows task manager ou reboot.
I run command "kill", but it not kill session too, "kill statusonly" not reported rollback.
This sessions has block and has i/o.

Somebody know how do I stop this sessions?

    Hello,
I found this solution on this forum pretty quick.

Rob*V :: Re: idle session timeout for sybase

I din't know as well such feature for ASE. You should try Rob Verschoor script.

    http://www.sypron****/sp__idleReaper.sql

If you try it let me know your opinion of the script please.
    Cheers

    Hi,

    Thanks, for your attention.
Sorry, I don´t posted sybase version, the sybase has version 12.5.4 running in HPUX 11.23 PARISC.
The used version not has the parameter "cis idle connection timeout"
