    Unanswered: Linux-x86_64 Error: 25: Inappropriate ioctl for device

    Hi guys.

    I'm getting the following error continuously when recreating the control file for an DB during an RMAN clone. It's running on RHEL 5.5. Any ideas what could cause this? This error appears in the alert log also. Many Thanks.
