Unanswered: Option Groups, Green Shading for Null

Is there any way to remove the default green shading in option goup check boxes for null? For some reason... and please don't ask me why... the green shading is 'confusing' people and I've been asked if I can remove the shading.

    Silly? Yup.

    Thanks!

You could set all of your check boxes with a default value so they will appear either checked or unchecked.

What situation do you have where a null value is acceptable to a yes/no question?

There are no situations where a null value is acceptable, it's a required response. And we don't want to have it default to either yes or no.

If this is a form that is used only for entering data consider using a different control. You could use two radio buttons in a group (so only one can be active) then set your database value based on what they select.
