db2 "restore db sample taken at 20120630210554 on /home/db2inst2 into redirect"
    db2 connect to sample
why this : restore in xxx connect to yy
you have to extract the logs from the backup image
    RESTORE DATABASE
if using another path use overflow log path with rollforward
    ROLLFORWARD DATABASE

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
