    Unanswered: Installing DB2 V9.5 on AIX 5.3

    Good morning,
    I have to install the db2 V9.5 on AIX 5.3, apart from the English language must be installed also in Spanish, I read that I have to indicate the paarmetro-c. Where I can download the DB2 NLPACK Spanish?

    I have looked, but there is an example of how to install more than one language pack at the db2_install, when unzip the file DB2_ESE_V95_AIX.tar here are all the languages ​​or packages I have to download them separately?

    export parameters instance and database.

    Hi colleagues,

    I need to save or export the configuration parameters of the instance and the database, I ran db2cfexp file.out BACKUP, but file.out edit configuarcion parameters of the database are not.

    I have db2 8.1 on aix 5.3.

    db2cfexp is for client configuration/client instance configuration.

    For dbm cfg, and db cfg, and registry use (after studying the Infocenter):
    db2 get dbm cfg ...
    db2 get db cfg ...
    db2set -all

    Do you ever study documentation ?

    db2 get dbm cfg show detail > instance_configuration.txt

    db2 get db cfg for _your_database_name > db_configuration.txt

    db2set -all > db2_registry_settings.txt

    db2cfexp doesn't save db cfg. I always save config info using this command prior to dropping the instance.
