Install a DB2 client on the Windows 2003 Server.
The DB2-client can be either the full client or one of the smaller packages like the run time client.
After installation of the DB2-client, catalog your DB2-server , then catalog your database , then catalog a system odbc data source for that database.
Test the ODBC connection with odbcad32 from Windows-Server.
Then configure your app-server to use the odbc-data-source and give a suitable userid and password.

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
