    Unanswered: Time clock on bottom of form.

    Hey,

    I have a time clock on the bottom of my form in a text box.

    =Format(Time() "hh/nn/ss") works great.

    I have a timer set to 1000 on the text box.

    When i go to save my DB or close it. The form just starts flashing extremely fast. and the program instantly goes into not responding. Any ideas on why this is?

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Try this in the class module of the form whith the timer:
    Code:
    Private Sub Form_Close()

        Me.TimerInterval = 0

    End Sub
    Have a nice day!

    Copy and paste the following Code into the Form's VBA Module:

    Code:
    Private Sub Form_Activate()
    Me.TimerInterval = 1000
    End Sub

    Private Sub Form_Deactivate()
    Me.TimerInterval = 0
    End Sub
    Save the Form and try what you were trying to do earlier.
